Microsoft Channel 9 and outrages

I'm very seriously considering suing Microsoft for violating my civil rights. I was banned because I said Tupac on the site which is not a racial slur. I was banned because Im a GNU/Linux user and they arent. If Channel 9 is Microsofts attempt at community they need some work. The common theme is "if you use GNU/Linux, you are not welcome"

I think no OSS software should be made available for Windows until Microsoft learns community.

Just to document/clarify things for random lurkers that visited this remote and obscure place by accident.

I'm long time niner (member of Channel9) as is Corona. It's true corona is generally regarded as nut and we make fun of him - but not because we were bunch of fanbois as he'd like people to believe - it's his own fault he acts as stereotypical anti-ms zealot.

For example - I know there are users who openly admitted they use linux as their primary OS and talk about linux on forum and none of them was ever censured/notified by admins for talking about linux.

In fact there are tons of people who take advantage of this openness and give heavy flak to ms/windows and/or praise competitors/foss without fear MS would ever delete what they wrote. One guy even stared distro on C9.

The only restriction is that you don't go on personal level and disrespect other people. Corona breached this line with racial slur and so (only) the comment where he suggested tupac will echo in white house if Obama wins (or something similar - don't remember precise wording, but was without doubt expressed in offensive way) was deleted. All his nonsensical MS rants still remain untouched on C9.

Anyhow, about Christopher Rondot (that's man's name) - even though he's very vocal about FSF cause on C9 he doesn't feel patent trolling goes against FSF carma. (he filled for some very basic stuff that experienced programmer would not need a week to come to solutions he wants to patent).

There's also proprietary social networking software he sells and I don't know how he makes this hypocrisy compatible with views he preaches on C9 either.

Finally, I'm sure Chris won't censure this post because he knows that would mean his blog is less open than MS forums..

If you didn't whine so much you would sound like a typical Slashdot troll. The whining gives the impression you're either very young, or just another overzealous *nix nut who either thinks they're better than everyone else or otherwise that they have something important to say regardless that 1000 other people have already blogged about it.
